  33. 1. OVERVIEW

  36. Welcome to DialWiz!
  37.  
  38.  
  39. DialWiz enables those people with Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking
  40. to automatically dial a list of telephone numbers.
  41.  
  42. e.g. Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has more than one access
  43. number. Normally you have your windows Dial-up Networking set for 
  44. one of these numbers. If that number is busy, you must manually type
  45. in the next number.
  46.  
  47. DialWiz will keep trying the numbers it has been given until it
  48. gets a connection or you choose 'Hang Up'

  53. 2. INSTALLING DIALWIZ
  54. =====================

  56. If you have a 'Zipped' file (e.g. 'DialWiz.zip') you should unzip
  57. the contents to a temporary folder, run the 'setup.exe' file, then
  58. delete the temporary folder.
  59.  
  60. Running 'Setup.exe' will load all the required files.
  61. If you only have a copy of 'DialWiz.exe' then you will
  62. need the files listed at the bottom of this text.

  66. 3. SETTING UP DIALWIZ
  67. =====================

  69. Note: If no connections appear in the left hand box under
  70. 'Connections' then DialWiz has not found any Dial-Up Networking
  71. connections. To add a connection, choose Connections, Add from 
  72. the menu.

  76. 3.1 Adding Phone Numbers
  77. ========================

  79. Click on the connection (left hand box) to which you wish to add
  80. a phone number. If any numbers have been setup for this connection
  81. they will appear in the Phone Numbers (right hand side) box.

  83. Choose 'Add' from the phone menu and enter the new number.

  85. 3.2 Removing Phone Numbers

  88. Click on the connection (left hand box) from which you wish to remove
  89. a phone number. If any numbers have been setup for this connection
  90. they will appear in the Phone Numbers (right hand side) box.

  92. Select the number you wish to remove in the Phone Numbers box.
  93. Choose 'Remove' from the phone menu.

  95. 3.3 Changing Phone Numbers

  98. Click on the connection (left hand box) with the phone number you 
  99. wish to change. If any numbers have been setup for this connection
  100. they will appear in the Phone Numbers (right hand side) box.

  102. Select the number you wish to change in the Phone Numbers box.
  103. Choose 'Edit' from the phone menu and enter the new number.

  105. 3.4 Changing The Order of Phone Numbers

  108. Click on the connection (left hand box) that has the numbers you wish 
  109. to change the order of. If any numbers have been setup for this connection
  110. they will appear in the Phone Numbers (right hand side) box.

  112. Select the number you wish to move in the Phone Numbers box and use
  113. Cntrl-U to move the number up the list or Cntrl-D to move it down.

  118. 4.0 DIALLING
  119. ============

  121. There are at least three ways to dial:
  122.  
  123. 1. Double Click on the connection you wish to dial.
  124.     DialWiz will start dialling with the first selected number.
  125.  
  126. 2. Double Click on the number you wish to dial first.
  127.     DialWiz will start dialling with this number.

  129. 3. Click on 'Dial'
  130.     DialWiz will start dialling with the first selected number.

  135. 5.0 FILES REQUIRED BY DIALWIZ
  136. =============================
  137. Running 'Setup.exe' will load all the required files.
  138. If you only have a copy of 'DialWiz.exe' then you will
  139. need these files:
